We’ve come across examples of bicycle inner tubes upcycled into a variety of items: jewelry, wallets, furniture (see photos of ‘em here).
Now here’s a different use: as an organizer/holder (for keys or other small items), made from inner tubes and tire valves attached to a piece of MDF.
The holders are available via a German DaWanda shop (here) that also sells key rings, handbags, coin purses, mobile phone cases, and other accessories.

I am not saying locking grips are mandatory, but if you live somewhere hot, you should look into them.
Eventually the AZ sun and heat softens grips. They spin on the bar, they slide around, they get sticky, they suck.
If you have black grips, they make the palms of your hands black after a few years. Colored grips like these still have that problem in the heat, but it takes a couple a little longer for them to break down.
