I thought the rocky, abrasive trails of central Arizona were tough. Just take a look at this video from (what I am assuming is) the Frech alps. High-speed switchbacks. I would not ride this thing on your bike.

Anywho I am taking my own sweet time with this rebuild. I have two new components to show you. Click the video for more. You cannot tell from the video but it is fixed only now. No free wheel on the flipside. Still enjoying that feeling of being connected to the bike [...]

I will be taking one of my bikes and stripping it down (again) to make something new. I am thinking a new commuter here. Something with a little more style. The first new component — the On-One Mary bars that I scored off of Craigslist. Shaun wanted them but he snoozed.

You know sometimes I think I fall in love too easy. A steel bike is a steel bike. But … the colors! the chrome! the leather! *drools* The only thing saving me from buying this bike is that the largest is only 58cm. Height-ist discrimination strikes again!
