I thought the rocky, abrasive trails of central Arizona were tough. Just take a look at this video from (what I am assuming is) the Frech alps. High-speed switchbacks. I would not ride this thing on your bike.
EDIT: On the second watch, I still think AZ is more treacherous. Not as steep and long, but more solid, sharp rock with no visible lines, more unexpected dropoffs, and sure as hell no trees and water crossings – just thirty kinds of cactus to land on.
